Stunt Cooking vs. Everyday Cooking

Let’s start by defining stunt cooking. If you had asked me three years ago what I considered stunt cooking I may have said making a roux. Now that answer is more in the realm of baking a rye bread. The point is that this is an arbitrary term and has everything to do with your personal experience.

To me stunt cooking is easily defined as any meal/dish that requires more than one and a half hours to prepare from prep to plate. These are loose guidelines I use to differentiate between weekday cooking and weekend cooking. Time is a more valued commodity than it used to be at this point in my life.  I have a few of my favorite recipes below.
